aTunes

I have been a die-hard WinAmp user for years and have started to stray as of late due to some annoyances they added recently… no I don’t want to install WinAmp remote, and the next time I start my computer I still won’t. I have also been looking for a good portable player that I could install on a USB drive and take with me as needed.

I stumbled onto aTunes about a week ago and have really enjoyed using it. It does everything all of the other player do but it does it simple and without a nag or complaint. It also has all the tagging, scrobbling, lyrics and covers you could want as well as a nice organized presentation… oh yeah, it sounds good too. Lastly, it’s written in Java so it’s very portable.

Give it a try. I am pretty close to ditching the llama for this one.
