Boy have I had a fun week this week… hmm, is there an emoticon for sarcasm?

I caught some nasty bug that reared its ugly head on Saturday morning in the form of nausea and a fever. The fever broke late Saturday night, but the nausea has been lingering and slowly going away causing me to miss work as I have not been able to sit up and concentrate for long periods of time without feeling really nasty… not great for software development problem solving, but I guess I have really caught up on lost sleep.

I went to the doctor today since I am not one to normally be sick and out of commission this long; I found out that I am just over the border of being a diabetic (6.1 on whatever test it is… I forget the name). I am overweight so it’s no surprise, but it is definitely a kick in the pants to get my ass back into working out and eating right.

Ug, oh well.
