I am working to put together a more meaningful, yet still simple, means of conveying the basic setup of a web application project based on common and standard tools and technologies. The project itself will be basically an incredibly over-complicated Hello World application (overly complicated because you don’t normally need a full scale web app to say hello world), but I will be using Spring MVC, Hibernate, Maven, Ant, CruiseControl, and a few other goodies.
