In an interesting display of how cosmopolitan the Dallas / Fort Worth area is… my wife and I met Victoria Njau, who is the current Miss Kenya (a good blog about her). We were out looking at apartments and she was a leasing agent for one of properties we visited. My wife had mentioned in passing about how pretty she was and that she should be a model, and very shyly she mentioned that she was the current Miss Kenya. At first we felt bad that she was here working as an apartment leasing agent, but after reading her bio, it’s obvious that she is just working for her education to follow her dreams.

She was a very nice, gentle and caring person and my wife and I wish her the best of luck in her future. She went well out of her way to make things comfortable for my wife and I and to help us have the best apartment viewing experience possible. Other leasing agents could learn a lot from her.
